Economic Class

Have you ever noticed how different garage sales can be depending on the area you are in. For example, I’ve been to garage sales in very high end communities where people are just trying to get rid of stuff and end up buying high end items for pennies on the dollar. I’ve also been to mobile home park community sales and walked away with nothing because most items were priced at or above market value.

I’ve come to believe that home income level and socioeconomic status have a significant impact on the types of items and the prices of items I find at garage sales.
