Used Car Manuals

I recently went to a garage sale for family who was liquidating the belongings of a deceased relative. It was a typical sale with tools, collectibles, and a random assortment of junk that really didn’t have any value.

As I was sorting through things I came across this hard back BMW 3 Series Service Manual dating back to the the 80’s and 90’s. I’ve researched old service manuals before and know that at the right price there is money to be made on them.

After doing some research on this particular manual I discovered that this one in particular sells for over $40. I was able to pick it up for $2.50.

When I listed it for sale on eBay, it sold within an hour for $41.

So, keep an eye out for service manuals…they can be worth some money!
